Sales Memory

    What is Sales Memory?

Sales Memory is the knowledge about a customer that builds up across many conversations and is available again before the next contact. Not the documentation of a single meeting, but the running state: what was discussed last, which objection stayed open, what matters next time. The conversation is the input. What lasts and carries is the result.

    The distinction

    What Sales Memory is not.

    Not conversation documentation.

It records what was said in a meeting. Sales Memory records what still holds afterward: the state, not the transcript.

    Not a CRM.

A CRM stores fields, the state after data entry. Sales Memory stores the context before that, the context the fields come from in the first place.

    Not conversation intelligence.

It analyzes conversations to score the salesperson. Sales Memory analyzes to make the next step easier for the salesperson. It works for them, not over them.

    The mechanism

    Three steps, one mechanism.

Capture: a conversation becomes structured knowledge, not a block of text. Accumulate: that knowledge settles onto the previous, over weeks and months; single points become a picture. Replay: before the next contact the picture is there again, at the right time, without looking it up.

Each step on its own is familiar. Only together do they become something else: capture without accumulation is a note. Accumulation without replay is an archive. Only replaying at the right moment turns memory into an advantage.

    In practice

fieldbrain is the implementation of this definition.

Sales Memory is built from a short voice note after the meeting. How that works in detail is on the platform page.
