Your team sees in Slack what came out of the conversations.
After every confirmed transfer, fieldbrain posts a short summary: which deals are affected and which tasks are due.
In short
- What's in the message?
- The deals with company, value, stage and probability, and the open tasks with due dates.
- When is it posted?
- Only after a confirmed transfer. The review shows the text and the channel first.
- Does fieldbrain read our messages?
- No. fieldbrain only reads the list of public channels to find the target channel.
- Do we need to set anything up?
- A Slack bot with two permissions. That's all.
What arrives in Slack
What fieldbrain reads
Only the list of public channels, to find the target channel. No messages, no members, no files.
What stays unchanged
Everything in your workspace. fieldbrain posts a new message and edits or deletes nothing.
For your IT
Access and permissions
A bot token (xoxb) with the permissions channels:read and chat:write. The connection belongs to the account that creates it.
Target channel
fieldbrain looks for #sales among public channels, then #general, otherwise it uses the first visible one. The chosen channel is shown in the review before sending.
Repeats
Every confirmed transfer posts a new message. On a rate limit, fieldbrain waits and retries.
Disconnecting
After disconnecting, fieldbrain posts nothing more. Earlier messages stay in Slack.

fieldbrain uses #sales, otherwise #general. If you want another channel, create #sales or invite the bot there.
Does fieldbrain post without approval?
No. It only posts when you confirm a transfer.
Does everyone in the channel see the amounts?
Yes, the message names company, value, stage and probability. Choose the channel deliberately.
